Mona LizaMona Liza moved from India to Canada about nine years ago and was introduced to FHL in 2018. She describes her experience with FHL as wonderful, as it provides immigrant families with essential resources like equipment, allowing children to engage in sports without financial burdens. She believes that activities like skating and skiing help kids stay active during Canada's long winters and offers them a sense of belonging in their new environment. Mona hopes FHL continues to grow and help more kids explore sports like football and hockey.

mona AliMona has been involved with FHL since its begining in 2009. She and her family were introduced to the organization through their community, which provided her children with opportunities to participate in hockey and football. This positive experience inspired Mona to give back, as volunteering was less common in her home country of Egypt. FHL has significantly impacted her family's lives by boosting her children's confidence both on and off the ice, and she hopes the organization continues to grow and help more kids each year.
