At 12, she began volunteering to give back to her community, appreciating the equipment and free opportunities FHL provided her and her siblings. Grateful for the positive impact the organization has had on her family, she encourages FHL to continue its important work in supporting kids and families in sports.

Russ GillespieRuss is a board member and on-ice coach with FHL, dedicated to helping young players access hockey through support with equipment and coaching. He recognizes challenges such as time constraints and a lack of resources for players, which FHL and Sports Bank aim to address. With a long-standing relationship with the FHL, Russ enjoys working with new Canadian families to introduce them to sports and connect them with local organizations.
